Donna and Joel Gregory (Kate Jackson and Robert Wagner) are busy researching a book about highly-revered and long-dead Hollywood film goddess Lorna Love. They decide to visit Lorna's estate, where they stay while interviewing old "friends" of Lorna. Things get sticky when Joel, whose father had had a passionate affair with Lorna, quickly becomes obsessed with the deceased movie star.
